Read the full project statement

Who is doing this?
The Sharon Spring Community Arts Project is an all volunteer effort; a group of local citizens who believe that the arts play an important part in the life of our village.

What’s going to happen?
Project volunteers will take photos of residents and friends of the village;  later they will be on display here in the village. It will be beautiful & it will be fun! We can’t wait to share it with you.

When will it happen?
Photos will be taken at various locations around the village, starting Saturday, Aug 1, 3:00 PM at Klinkhart Hall, (Outside, safely distanced, of course!) We will post future times and locations here on the website.

Who is it for?
Everyone!! It’s a community project. Born here/moved here/visit here/like it here . . . it doesn’t matter. We want everyone to be a part of it.

How do I participate?
Just show up with your most expressive face! wherever you see the polka dots. Bring your friends and neighbors.

Does it cost anything?
Printing and display of the photos will cost $20 each. But we want your face, so contribute what you can, if you can. If you’re able to contribute more it will cover the cost for someone who can’t. That’s how community projects work!

Where does the money go?
100% of contributions go to support the project. Nothing else.
The nonprofit Klinkhart Hall Arts Center has volunteered to collect online contributions on this website, but cash on site is fine too — it all goes to support the Sharon Springs Community Arts Project.
